How to get beautiful pictures of the moon.
I wanted to share the camera that took the Supermoon pictures last night. My Mother-in-law had this camera when we were at my son’s swim practice outside. I had my 70-200mm 2.8 lens and I couldn’t get the clear zoom she did or that far away. I was beyond impressed with this camera and had wanted it ever since. The optical zoom on it is unbelievable 65x Optical zoom with tracking.
My husband travels a lot for business overseas and gets to see beautiful countries. I bought this camera for him because it is small and takes gorgeous photos outdoor with vibrant colors. He was using his phone and the details wasn’t coming out great with the iphone. I wanted him to be able to get great photos to remember.
The zoom on the moon is unbelievable just like a telescope. This camera isn’t a professional camera but it is very close as far as the colors, details etc. It does a nice job without having to use the manual settings.
I used auto on this camera and it was able to get the moon good. Not perfect or you would see it a little more clear.
If you are looking to buy a really nice camera for your spouse for Christmas or you want to ask for a good camera for your family pictures this is a great one and not expensive. If you do it when it comes over the horizon you can right when it is coming up you can also get the other details of the earth such as trees and land.
Great example for manual settings
1/125 second mark.
f/9.0
1SO 400, but you can push it to ISO 800 you can get a faster shutter speed.
To get great shots a tripod is very helpful to keep the camera sturdy
