Verunka and Jacob | Phoenix Wedding Photographer

When I moved to Arizona I had the privelage to meet and work with Verunka over 6 years ago. She is an amazing woman, just beautiful inside and out. Verunka moved to New York to pursue her career as an Opera singer. She has the most gorgeous voice, you would be in awe if you were able to hear her. Trust me I know she is going to go far with that talented voice of her’s. Jacob and Verunka are moving to Germany to advance her opera career. How exciting to have this opportunity. Verunka has this beauty  classic look to her, I was so excited when I saw how great she looked to have the chance to photograph her on her wedding day. She was such a natural in front of the camera, some people have a ease about them she is definitely one of them. I could have photographed her all day and been happy. Verunka and Jacob went to ASU where I believe they met. They let a balloon go in memory of his Mom who passed away last year, with little notes attached. It was very sentimental~

When I first started my photography business I  wished that I could take Verunka’s pictures because she has this really unique look to her just a beauty words could never express. I told her if she ever comes back her I wanted to practice on her. She just contacted me recently to ask me to photograph her wedding and I was of course super excited. I felt very blessed to photograph this loving couple. You could just feel the love in the air while they were together. This is the first wedding I ever photographed for a client.  I am a extremely romantic person and watch romance movies all the time. The entire reason I became a professional photographer was so get into weddings. I didn’t direct myself toward that because my children were babies and I didn’t want to leave them for 8hrs at a time. I had so much fun I felt like I was on a high and couldn’t even sleep last night thinking over and over if I got a ton of great shots. When I was a kid I wanted to become a Director, this reminded me of that in a way.  I can’t wait to shoot another one, hopefully I can start second shooting for other photographers.

You can see how proud they look and happy. What a beautiful perfect day. Verunka as so excited it was so sweet after I got to talk to her and she was talking so fast that I just couldn’t help but smile with joy for her. There is something about true love that is contagious.
