Milonas family {Phoenix newborn photographer}

The Milonas family drove from Surprise, Arizona to my studio with their newborn 11 day old baby this week. Little Miss S. She was 21.5 inches long & 8lbs 12oz. when she was born. What a little sweetie! Shanna & Steve came in telling me how she hasn’t been sleeping throughout the day lately. They were worried I could tell that she wasn’t going to sleep so we could get cute poses. I wasn’t worried, every baby is the same and eventually they have to fall asleep. I told them not to stress and to try and relax because I think babies sense that. The more relaxed you are about the session the smoother it seems to go. I have had babies cry almost the entire session but a few moments and I still was able to get cute shots that the parents still told me that LOVED!

When babies are fussy or crying during a session I take them all with a stride because we are all moody and things make up unhappy sometimes and there isn’t much you can do about it but try and do your best to capture what happens. I was so glad when she did finally fall asleep because she was such a good girl and let us pose her in a ton of different positions, props and backgrounds. Thanks Little S. you did an amazing job!!!

Shanna & Steve were extremely laid back and easy going to work with. They were all for whatever I thought would work best. When you come into my studio there are so many props and backgrounds to choose from it can be a little overwhelming to try and pick from. I love doing new sessions because they are all so different and newborns are such a challenge.

I sent Shanna her sneak peek and I think she was a little happy with them since she said this ” “Holy cow Leslie…you did an AMAZING job! They are so cute…exactly what I had in mind! We are so excited to see the rest.” This makes me very happy because honestly my client’s happiness is the most important thing to me. Money is great and icing on the cake but nothing is more important to me than bringing joy to a family. How many people have jobs that they can say that.
