You can put people in groups on Facebook. Such as college, high school, family, best friends.
This is really convenience so that you can say something on your status to only that group of people if you want and no one else can read it. Or you can hide what you say from certain people as well. So if you want to say something kinda private you can do that too. Plus it’s great if you only want your family say to see your photos or certain albums and not the rest of your friends.
To create a group follow these directions:
1. main page
2. friends
3. Edit friends
4. create list
5. At the top of the new window on the left hand side there is a small box, type the name of the list or type their name. Example “family”
6. Then click on the person’s photo of who you want in that group.
7. create list
Under the status & PHOTO albums there is a lock button click specific people, then pick the list of people you want. You can pick multiple lists.
Watch after I write these directions Facbook will change their interface again..haha
