Mitchell family portraits {Newborn Photographer Phoenix, Arizona}Gilbert

The Mitchell’s drove all the way from Kansas to adopt this sweet baby Lucas. He was 3 days old at his 1st session.. They literally drove from the hospital to my studio in Gilbert to capture the smallest moments of his life. Which to me is such a precious time because they are so tiny and will be this tiny once. Tom was a natural as a new Father he was so good with Lukas rocking him to sleep. It was so precious.

If your having a baby and would like to get newborn photos the soonest you can get them done the better. This way you can put them in all these cute poses the easiest because when they are sleeping you can move them around and they don’t mind.

The Mitchell’s said that  baby Lukas sleeps all the time, which is true for newborns. But it took an hour and half to get this little guy asleep. I don’t know why but newborns for me since I started this business have a hard time falling asleep for me. I am hoping this changes in time and it flips over to they all sleep for me. Once he was asleep than things went fast and I was able to capture some really adorable poses. I LOVE how these came out. The Mitchell’s told me they wanted me to do my thing and use my artistic talent the best way I could.  You let me know what you guys think how these turned out. I think as I go they are getting better and better. I am loving the newborn sessions!!

This photo means a lot because the Mitchell’s have an alligator and so does the birth Mother. It was the most important photo of the session. I love how it turned out because Little baby Lukas was looking right at it.

This shot I have been wanting to do for a long time and am very please with how it turned out. Baby Lukas you are so loved already little one.

Cindy said this is the one shot she really wanted to get. I always ask if there is anything specific they would like done. This was it and I love how it turned out!
